The upper body or trunk is the part of the body between the head and the limbs. In the torso, except for the brain, are all the important organs without which a person is unable to live longer. For our purposes, the upper limbs are also included in this part. The upper limbs are used for manipulating objects in the environment, and are therefore terminated by hands that are able to grasp objects and then move them.
